What level do BFA quests start?
You can pick up the BFA entry quest in either Org or SW at level 10+.
You will need to go to Silithus and speak with Magni for “The Heart of Azeroth” quest. There should be a portal to Silithus in the Sanctum of Sages in Boralus.
- Hit 50.
- Unlock all three footholds as part of the Alliance or Horde War Campaigns.
- Hit Friendly with the 3 major Kul Tiras (if Alliance)/Zandalar (if Horde) factions, in the quest Uniting Kul Tiras/Uniting Zandalar.
If you already have a level 60 character but choose to take the city tour, your character will be pushed a shortened version of the Battle for Azeroth questline. To unlock the Chromie Time option, you must complete the introductory questline up through A Nation Divided (Alliance) or Speaker of the Horde (Horde).
Completed Exile's Reach Questline
You can then go speak to Chromie in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to pick a questing area. If you do not yet have a level 60 character your character will be pushed a shortened Battle for Azeroth questline and level in Battle for Azeroth until level 60.
Heroic and Mythic are fine, but going into a BFA dungeon on Normal mode, all of the mobs inside are level 60 and bosses are level 62. This makes soloing BFA normal dungeons near impossible at the moment.
In order to enter heroic dungeons in Battle for Azeroth, your character must be level 50, meet a certain item level requirement, and have unlocked the Heart of Azeroth. If they do not meet any of these requirements, they will not be able to queue using the dungeon finder for heroic dungeons.
Mythic Dungeons from BfA are also readily soloable with a geared level 60 toon — with one exception noted below — so if you had your eye on one of the mounts that drop only on Mythic mode here is your chance.
If you are level 60 and do not own Dragonflight, you will not be able to do Timewalking campaigns, and you will currently only see Battle for Azeroth dungeons. Level 60 characters who do own Dragonflight cannot queue for random dungeons; once they level to 61, they have that option.
While it is doable, soloing Mythic BfA raids is still a bit of a chore. Bosses still take some time to take down, especially for characters who aren't exceptionally geared.

Because new players still level up in BFA. They dont get put in to chromie time for it, they level to 60 in the same world as us. So the content had to scale up to get them to 60. Its better than making new players level in shadowlands, and instances from bfa have not been rescalled.
With Patch 9.0. 5, players level 51+ now are able to solo queue into BFA Raid Finder instances with the help of the Keepers of Histories in Boralus and in the Great Seal. Nice!

Can you solo Legion dungeons in BFA?
Is there a certain spec/ilvl that does it better than others if the above is possible? Legion is somewhat doable depending on class/gear/raid but you're not gonna go in and one shot everything and some fights are just straight up impossible. BFA is not remotely soloable.
In BFA I was able to solo this no problem. There's a few bosses where I'm actually almost dying.
General Recommended Solo Level/Item level for all dungeons: level 45+ with item level 45.
Every tank at 80 can solo every level 70 dungeon in roughly 30 minutes all the way back to the first tier of level 80 gear.
Every dungeon, every raid, and every difficulty should be soloable in two expansions, and not just barely soloable, but easily soloable, as in the hardest bosse dies within a few hits max.
Though Pathfinder is no longer required for flying in Battle for Azeroth's zones, it is still very much worth completing for any aspiring mount collector, awarding players with the Wonderwing 2.0 mechanical parrot mount.

The fastest expansion to level in is Warlords of Draenor (WoD). The primary reason for this is that all the WoD zones have Bonus Objectives. Essentially, they are one-time quest-type objectives that appear throughout the zones.

1 Hunter - Easy
It's no wonder that the Hunters are still at the top of the heap when it comes to popularity. This class is probably the easiest to level and play, and has been even from the days of Classic WoW. Plus, players can level and train a pet that they can find out in the wilds of Azeroth.
