There is no written rule that says you are required to buy drinks for everyone in your club after you make that hole in one. But, you do know that golf has a way of getting you back, so maybe you want to celebrate it, enjoy it, and pull out that credit card.
One round of drinks is required, and anything beyond that is up to the player. Some more generous golfers will buy several rounds of drinks, or even a round for everyone in the clubhouse after making a hole-in-one.

As a member of an MGA Member Club you are eligible to receive a personalized, MGA Hole-in-One Certificate, suitable for framing. A hole-in-one must occur during an 18-hole round of golf at a course rated either by the MGA or any regional or national golf association.
The general range of shots that get people drunk is two to three. But, depending on how fast they drink and factors like weight, age, sex, and stomach content, people can be intoxicated with just one shot or more than three.
Legal drink-driving limits
The current drink-driving limit is a BAC of 50mg. This means 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. For professional, learner and novice drivers the limit is a BAC of 20mg. Most people will have a BAC of 20 to 50mg after 1 standard drink.
That said, if you do fancy a drink, as a general rule, most people are OK to drive after a pint of regular-strength beer or a small glass of wine. Any more and you run a significant risk of being over the limit. A unit of alcohol normally takes the body around an hour to process.
